Sideframe Mounting Spare Tire Bracket
for all Powersports Trailers
specically t on all Powersports trailers. It will attach to either 2” x 3” or 2” x 4” side frames. It is powder painted in a black nish only.
NOTE: The spare tire bracket and tire should be mounted on the right side frame (ditch side or away from traf-
c) to reduce potential damage to oncoming trafc in
the event of a tire loss.
The spare tire bracket must be mounted far enough away from either the front or rear side market lights so it does not block the 45° photometic lighting angle required by law.
Assembly Instructions
• Open the bundle and sort all items by size.
• Place on a ½” at washer and then secure in place with a ½” lock nut. Tighten.
• Determine the desired location for the spare tire to be mounted taking into account the forbidden area noted above.
• The kit is supplied with both size U-bolts so it will mount to the two size frames mentioned above.
• Slide the correct U-bolt over the side frame as shown. Insert into the mating holes in the spare tire bracket. Secure with ½” lock washers and hex nuts. Tighten.
• Place the wheel assembly over the studs and secure with the lug nuts provided. Note that the tapered side of the lug nut must be towards the wheel so it will t properly into the wheel lug nut hole. Tighten.
• Assembly is now complete.
CAUTION: Check the spare tire bracket and wheel lug nuts peridically for tightness to eliminate tire loss during transport.
