Inspect labels as they are rewound
Stroboscopes are used in many different printing applications to “stop Motion”. When the flash is timed with
the printed media, it enables the visual inspection of defects, alignment and imperfections, all while the process
machinery is running. When used in conjunction with a label (slot) sensor, the stroboscope will be timed to
automatically flash in proper unison with changes in the machinery process speed.
A label inspection equipment manufacturer exclusively offers a Shimpo Stroboscope as a quality control addition on all their rewinding equipment. The stroboscope is combined with a separate swing arm mounting apparatus. This mounting arm allows for proper and convenient positioning of the stroboscope’s light on the media
as it is being rewound as well as the ability to quickly move the stroboscope off line and out of the operator’s
work area when not in use.
