WARNING
Unlocking the speed limiter in public places such as roads,
squares, bike paths is prohibited by law. Therefore, you can activate unlocking only in private
locations such as circuits, slopes, and private properties. Mounting the device may invalidate the
bicycle factory warranty. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for any damage caused
to assisted pedal bicycles on which the Eplus system is mounted. The manufacturer declines any
responsibility for damages to persons or things caused or in any way related to the use of Eplus
Disconnect the connectors
and locate the cables
Remove the battery from your e-bike.
Remove, on the left side (opposite sideof the transmission crown), the 3 screws that secure
the engine cover.

Once removed the protective cap, locate the connector in the foreground among the
connector assembly on the right side.
Remove it gently, paying attention not to crush or spoil connectors or wires.

With a cutter gently remove the pin on the connector just disconnected.

Insert the supplied tube into the connector just disconnected.

Put one of the two connectors of the eplus on the opposite side of the tube and connect the
second connector of the eplus replacing the one that you previously plugged out of the engine.

Locate the 2 screws to use the lights and proceed with step 8.

Insert the black cable between the screw with the symbol - and the plate (left), AND the red
cable between the screw with the + symbol and the plate (right). Tighten the two screws.

If necessary, order the cables, making sure that there are no cables positioned in correspondan-
ce of the holes where the screws of the protective cap of the motor pass and reposition it.

To activate Eplus, turn on the lights (if the key is not active, you must enable it using the Shima-
no E-Tube app). Download the Etube application from Google Play or Play Store:
http://e-tubeproject.shimano.com/
and turn on the “lights” function using the app. The activation can also be performed by the
Dealer using the Shimano Diagnosis.
Access the menu by holding down the key on the dashboard

Find the “lights” entry, access and select the “ACC” entry •
From now on, the Eplus Unlocker mode will always be active.

Choose Customize> transmission unit and switch to On.
Press on OFF and save to the bottom right, then exit the application. From this point on, the
‘lights’ menu will be active on the display: it will then be possible to set the lights from the ‘lights’
menu by choosing ACC to activate the unlocker mode of the Eplus.
WARNING On some models and depending on the FW, you must repeat the operation every time
you turn on / o the bike.
