Operation
Inserting the batteries
Push the two tabs located on the lower part of the position display inwards and then
remove the battery box. Insert four AA batteries in the order shown in the fi gure then
insert the battery box with the battery-mounting side down until you hear it click.

Turning the power ON / OFF
Press the power ON button or power OFF button to turn the power ON / OFF.
Turning the laser ON / OFF
Laser emissions turn ON / OFF with each press of the laser ON / OFF button.
Measurement
Reference point
Set the reference point fi rst.

Press the laser ON / OFF button on the position display to turn on laser emissions.
Set the laser pointer at the reference point. Slide the rail to move the laser radiation

device and set the pointer at the cross at the center of the crank.
With the pointer placed over the intersection point of the cross, press the X reset

button and Y reset button to set the reference point to zero.
Move the laser radiation device to the measurement point and read the X-axis and

Y-axis values shown on the position display.
Calibration
You need to save an accurate scale value in this product to correctly measure the moving
distance. Perform calibration according to the following procedure before measurement.
Y-axis:
1000 mm
X-axis: 1000 mm
Setting the X-axis direction
Press the X reset button for 5 seconds.

Move the laser radiation device. Accurately measure 1000 mm along the X-axis
