This document contains important technical and safety infor­mation about the device and its safety use and installation.
Before beginning the installation, please read this guide and
any other documents accompanying the device carefully and
completely. Failure to follow the installation procedures could
lead to malfunction, danger to your health and life, violation of

Introduction to Shelly

Shelly® is a line of innovative Devices, which allow remote con­trol of electric appliances through a mobile phone, tablet, PC, or
home automation system. Shelly® may work standalone on the
local WiFi network, without being managed by a home automa­tion controller, or it can also work through cloud home automa­tion services. Shelly® devices can be accessed, controlled, and
monitored remotely from any place the User has Internet con­nectivity, as long as the devices are connected to a WiFi router
and the Internet. Shelly® has an integrated web server, through
which the User may adjust, control and monitor the Device. The
cloud function could be used, if it is activated through the web
server of the Device or the settings in the Shelly Cloud mobile
application. The User can register and access Shelly Cloud us­ing either Android or iOS mobile application, or with any internet

browser at
Shelly® Devices have two WiFi modes - Access Point (AP) and
Client mode (CM). To operate in Client Mode, a WiFi router must
be located within the range of the Device. Devices can commu­nicate directly with other WiFi devices through HTTP protocol.
An API can be provided by the Manufacturer.
Shelly® Plus series offers PM products for real-time precise
power measurement.

Installation Instructions

The WiFi Relay Switch Shelly® Plus 1PM may control 1 elec­trical circuit up to 3.5 kW. It is intended to be mounted into
a standard in-wall console, behind power sockets and light
switches or other places with limited space. Shelly may work
as a standalone Device or as an accessory to another home
automation controller.

⚠CAUTION! Danger of electrocution. The mounting/installa-

tion of the Device should be done by a qualied person (elec­trician).

⚠CAUTION! Do not connect the Device to appliances exceed-

ing the given max load!

⚠CAUTION! Connect the Device only in the way shown in these

instructions. Any other method could cause damage and/or in­jury.

⚠CAUTION! Use the Device only with a power grid and appli-

ances which comply with all applicable regulations. short circuit
in the power grid or any appliance connected to the Device may
damage the Device.

⚠RECOMMENDATION! Тhe Device may be connected to and

may control electric circuits and appliances only if they comply
with the respective standards and safety norms.

⚠RECOMMENDATION! The Device may be connected with sol-

id single-core cables with increased heat resistance to insulation

not less than PVC T105°C.

Before installing/mounting the Device ensure that the grid is
powered off (turned down breakers). Connect the Relay to the
power grid and install it in the console behind the switch/power
socket following the scheme that suites the desired purpose:

For inductive appliances, those that cause voltage spikes
during switching on: electrical motors, as fans, vacuum clean

ers and similar ones, RC snubber (0.1µF / 100Ω / 1/2W / 600V

AC) should be wired between Output and Neutral of the circuit.
Before starting, wire check that the breakers are turned off and
there is no voltage on their terminals. This can be done with a
phase meter or multimeter. When you are sure that there is no
voltage, you can start wiring the cables according to g.1. In­stall a wire from “O” to the load and from the load to the Neutral.
Install also a wire from the Fuse to “L”.
Connect the Neutral to the device.The last step is to install a
cable from the switch to the terminal SW.

mobile application and Shelly Cloud service. Instructions on
how to connect your device to the Cloud and control it through
the Shellly App can be found in the “App guide”. You can also

Einführung in Shelly

Shelly® ist eine Reihe innovativer Geräte, die die Fernsteuerung
von Elektrogeräten über ein Mobiltelefon, Tablet, PC oder Haus­automationssystem ermöglichen. Shelly® kann eigenständig
im lokalen WiFi-Netzwerk arbeiten, ohne von einem Heimauto­matisierungscontroller verwaltet zu werden, oder es kann auch
über Cloud-Heimautomatisierungsdienste funktionieren. Auf
Shelly®-Geräte kann von jedem Ort, an dem der Benutzer über
eine Internetverbindung verfügt, aus der Ferne zugegriffen, sie
gesteuert und überwacht werden, solange die Geräte mit einem
WLAN-Router und dem Internet verbunden sind. Shelly® verfügt
über einen integrierten Webserver, über den der Benutzer das Ge­rät einstellen, steuern und überwachen kann. Die Cloud-Funktion
kann verwendet werden, wenn sie über den Webserver des Ge­räts oder die Einstellungen in der Shelly Cloud-Mobilanwendung
aktiviert wird. Der Benutzer kann sich über die mobile Android­oder iOS-App oder mit einem beliebigen Internetbrowser unter

Shelly®-Geräte haben zwei WiFi-Modi - Access Point (AP) und Cli­ent-Modus (CM). Für den Betrieb im Client-Modus muss sich ein

WLAN-Router in Reichweite des Geräts benden. Geräte können

über das HTTP-Protokoll direkt mit anderen WiFi-Geräten kom­munizieren. Eine API kann vom Hersteller bereitgestellt werden.
Die Shelly® Plus-Serie bietet PM-Produkte für die präzise Leis­tungsmessung in Echtzeit.

Installationsanleitung

Der WiFi-Relaisschalter Shelly® Plus 1PM kann 1 Stromkreis
bis zu 3,5 kW steuern. Es ist für die Montage in einer Standard­Unterputzkonsole, hinter Steckdosen und Lichtschaltern oder an
anderen Orten mit begrenztem Platz vorgesehen. Shelly kann als
eigenständiges Gerät oder als Zubehör für einen anderen Heim­automatisierungscontroller verwendet werden.

⚠ACHTUNG! Stromschlaggefahr. Die Montage/Installation des

Gerätes sollte von einer qualizierten Person (Elektriker) durch­geführt werden.

⚠ACHTUNG! Schließen Sie das Gerät nicht an Geräte an, die die

angegebene maximale Last überschreiten!

⚠ACHTUNG! Schließen Sie das Gerät nur auf die in dieser An-

leitung gezeigte Weise an. Jede andere Methode kann zu Schäden
und/oder Verletzungen führen.

⚠ACHTUNG! Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur mit Stromnetzen und

Geräten, die allen geltenden Vorschriften entsprechen. ein Kurz­schluss im Stromnetz oder ein an das Gerät angeschlossenes Ge­rät kann das Gerät beschädigen.

⚠EMPFEHLUNG! Das Gerät darf nur an Stromkreise und Geräte

angeschlossen werden und diese steuern, wenn diese den jeweili­gen Normen und Sicherheitsnormen entsprechen.

⚠EMPFEHLUNG! Das Gerät kann mit massiven einadrigen Ka-

beln mit erhöhter Wärmebeständigkeit bis zur Isolierung von min-

destens PVC T105°C angeschlossen werden.

Stellen Sie vor der Installation/Montage des Geräts sicher, dass

Schließen Sie das Relais an das Stromnetz an und installieren Sie
es in der Konsole hinter dem Schalter/der Steckdose nach dem
Schema, das dem gewünschten Zweck entspricht:

Bei induktiven Geräten, die beim Einschalten Spannungsspitzen
verursachen: Elektromotoren, wie Lüfter, Staubsauger und ähn-

liches, RC-Snubber (0,1µF / 100Ω / 1/2W / 600V AC) zwischen

Ausgang und Neutralleiter des Stromkreises verdrahten .
Überprüfen Sie vor dem Starten, ob die Leistungsschalter ausge­schaltet sind und an ihren Klemmen keine Spannung anliegt. Dies
kann mit einem Phasenmesser oder Multimeter erfolgen. Wenn
Sie sicher sind, dass keine Spannung anliegt, können Sie mit der
Verdrahtung der Kabel gemäß Abb. 1 beginnen. Installieren Sie
einen Draht von „O“ zur Last und von der Last zum Neutralleiter.
Installieren Sie auch ein Kabel von der Sicherung zu „L“.
Verbinden Sie den Neutralleiter mit dem Gerät. Der letzte Schritt
besteht darin, ein Kabel vom Schalter zum Terminal SW zu ins­tallieren.

Introduzione a Shelly

Shelly® è una linea di Dispositivi innovativi, che consentono il
controllo remoto di elettrodomestici tramite telefono cellulare,
tablet, PC o sistema domotico. Shelly® può funzionare auto­nomamente sulla rete WiFi locale, senza essere gestito da un
controller di automazione domestica, oppure può funzionare
anche tramite servizi di automazione domestica cloud. È pos­sibile accedere, controllare e monitorare i dispositivi Shelly® in
remoto da qualsiasi luogo in cui l’Utente disponga di connet­tività Internet, purché i dispositivi siano connessi a un router
WiFi e a Internet. Shelly® dispone di un server web integrato, at­traverso il quale l’Utente può regolare, controllare e monitorare
il Dispositivo. La funzione cloud potrebbe essere utilizzata, se
attivata tramite il server web del Dispositivo o le impostazioni
nell’applicazione mobile Shelly Cloud. L’Utente può registrarsi
e accedere a Shelly Cloud utilizzando l’applicazione mobile
Android o iOS o con qualsiasi browser Internet all’indirizzo

I dispositivi Shelly® hanno due modalità WiFi: Access Point

Per gli apparecchi induttivi, quelli che causano picchi di tensio
ne durante l’accensione: motori elettrici, come ventilatori, aspi-

Prima di iniziare, vericare che gli interruttori siano spenti e che

non ci sia tensione sui loro terminali. Questo può essere fatto

che non c’è tensione, puoi iniziare a cablare i cavi secondo la

g.1. Installare un lo da “O” al carico e dal carico al Neutro.
Installare anche un lo dal Fusibile a “L”.

Collegare il neutro al dispositivo. L’ultimo passaggio consiste
nell’installare un cavo dall’interruttore al terminale SW.

Presentación de Shelly

Shelly® es una línea de dispositivos innovadores que permiten
el control remoto de los electrodomésticos a través de un telé­fono móvil, una tableta, un PC o un sistema domótico. Shelly®
puede funcionar de forma autónoma en la red WiFi local, sin
necesidad de ser gestionado por un controlador domótico, o
también puede funcionar a través de servicios domóticos en el
Cloud. Los dispositivos Shelly® se pueden manejar, controlar y

Instrucciones de instalación

El interruptor de relé Shelly® Plus 1PM WiFi puede controlar 1
circuito eléctrico de hasta 3,5 kW. Está pensado para ser mon­tado en una consola de pared estándar, detrás de las tomas de
corriente y los interruptores de la luz o en otros lugares donde
el espacio es limitado. Shelly puede funcionar como dispositi­vo autónomo o como accesorio de otro controlador domótico.

⚠ ¡Precaución! Peligro de descarga eléctrica. El montaje/ins-

talación del aparato debe ser realizado por una persona cuali-

cada (electricista).

⚠ ¡ATENCIÓN! No conecte el aparato a dispositivos que supe-

ren la carga máxima indicada!

⚠ ¡CUIDADO! Conecte el dispositivo sólo de la manera espe-

cicada en estas instrucciones. Cualquier otro método podría

Antes de instalar/montar el aparato, asegúrese de que la red
eléctrica está sin tensión (interruptores automáticos desco­nectados). Conecte el relé a la red eléctrica e instálelo en la
consola detrás del interruptor/enchufe, siguiendo el esquema
adecuado para el uso previsto:
Conéctese a la red eléctrica con una alimentación de 110-240V
CA (Img.1) o conexión a la red de 24-240V DC* (Img.2).

Para los dispositivos inductivos, aquellos que provocan picos de
tensión cuando se encienden: motores eléctricos, como ventila­dores, aspiradoras y similares, se debe cablear un snubber RC

(amortiguador) (0,1µF / 100Ω / 1/2W / 600V CA) entre la Salida

y el Neutro del circuito.
Antes de iniciar, compruebe mediante el cableado que los
interruptores están desconectados y que no hay tensión en
sus bornes. Esto puede hacerse con un medidor de fase o un
multímetro. Cuando esté seguro de que no hay tensión, puede
empezar a cablear los cables como se muestra en la img. 1.
Instale un cable de “O” a la carga y de la carga al neutro. Instale
también un cable desde el fusible hasta la “L”.
Conecte el neutro al dispositivo. El último paso es instalar un
cable desde el interruptor hasta el terminal SW.

Apresentação de Shelly

Shelly® é uma linha de dispositivos inovadores, que permitem
o controlo remoto de eletrodomésticos através de um telefone
móvel, tablet, PC ou sistema de domótica. Shelly® pode funcio­nar isoladamente na rede WiFi local sem necessidade de um
controlador de domótica, ou pode também funcionar através
de serviços de domótica na “cloud”. Os dispositivos Shelly® po­dem ser acedidos, controlados e monitorizados remotamente
pelo Utilizador a partir de qualquer localização em que exista
acesso à internet. Shelly® possui um servidor de internet in­tegrado, através do qual o Utilizador pode ajustar, controlar e
monitorizar o Dispositivo. A função “cloud” pode ser utilizada
se ativada através do servidor de internet do Dispositivo ou nas
congurações da aplicação Shelly Cloud. O Utilizador pode re­gistar e aceder a Shelly Cloud utilizando aplicações em Android
ou iOS, ou com um browser de internet em

Os Dispositivos Shelly® possuem dois modos WiFi - Ponto de
Acesso (AP) e modo de Cliente (CM). Para operar em Modo
de Cliente, um router WiFi tem de estar ao alcance do dispo­sitivo. Dispositivos podem comunicar diretamente com outros

Instruções de Instalação

O Interruptor Relé WiFi Shelly® Plus 1PM permite o controlo de
1 circuito elétrico até 3.5 kW. Foi desenhado para ser instalado
em consolas de parede standard, por trás das tomadas e inter­ruptores de iluminação ou outros locais com espaço limitado.
Shelly pode funcionar como um Dispositivo autónomo ou como
acessório de um sistema de domótica.

⚠ATENÇÃO! Perigo de eletrocussão. A montagem/ligação do

Dispositivo deve ser executada por um prossional (eletricista).

⚠ATENÇÃO! Não ligue eletrodomésticos ao Dispositivo se ex-

cederem a sua carga máxima!

⚠ATENÇÃO! Ligue o Dispositivo apenas como ilustrado nes-

tas instruções. Qualquer outra forma poderá causar avarias ou
danos.

⚠ATENÇÃO! Utilize o Dispositivo apenas com uma rede elé-

trica e eletrodomésticos que cumpram as especicações. Um

curto-circuito na rede elétrica ou noutro aparelho ligado ao dis

positivo poderá danicar o próprio Dispositivo.

⚠RECOMENDAÇÃO! O Dispositivo pode ser conetado e pode

Antes de instalar/montar o Dispositivo, certique-se de que a

rede elétrica está desligada (desligue os disjuntores). Ligue
a Relé à rede elétrica e instale-a na consola por trás do inter
ruptor/conector tal como ilustrado no esquema adequado à
função desejada:
Ligação à rede elétrica com a fonte de alimentação 110-240V
CA (g. 1) ou ligação à rede elétrica com 24-240V CC* (g.2).

Com eletrodomésticos de indutância, e todos os que possam
causar picos de tensão ao serem acionados: motores elétricos,
ventoinhas, aspiradores e similares, deve ligar-se um conden

sador “snubber” (0.1µF / 100Ω / 1/2W / 600V AC) entre a Saída

e o Neutro do circuito.

Antes de começar, verique se os disjuntores estão desligados

e se não existe qualquer voltagem nos seus terminais. Isto
pode ser vericado com um medidor de tensão ou um multíme­tro. Quando tiver certeza de que não existe qualquer voltagem,

pode então iniciar as ligações conforme a g.1. Conecte um

cabo desde o “O” até a carga e desde a carga até ao Neutro.
Conecte também um cabo desde o “L” até ao Fusível .
Conecte o Neutro ao dispositivo. O último passo será ligar um
cabo desde o interruptor até ao terminal SW.

Introduction à Shelly

Shelly® est une ligne de Dispositifs innovants, qui permettent le
contrôle à distance d’appareils électriques à travers un téléphone
mobile, une tablette, un PC ou un système domotique. Shelly®

Instructions d’installation

L’interrupteur relais WiFi Shelly® Plus 1PM peut contrôler 1 circuit
électrique jusqu’à 3,5 kW. Il est destiné à être monté dans une
console murale standard, derrière des prises de courant et des
interrupteurs d’éclairage ou dans d’autres endroits où l’espace est
limité. Shelly peut fonctionner en tant que dispositif autonome ou
en tant qu’accessoire d’un autre contrôleur domotique.

⚠ ATTENTION! Danger d’électrocution. Le montage/installation

de l’Appareil doit être effectué par une personne qualiée (électri­cien).

⚠ ATTENTION! Ne pas connecter l’appareil à des appareils dépas-

sant la charge maximale indiquée !

⚠ ATTENTION! Connectez l’Appareil uniquement de la manière in-

diquée dans ces instructions. Toute autre méthode pourrait causer
des dommages et/ou des blessures.

⚠ ATTENTION! N’utilisez l’Appareil qu’avec un réseau électrique

et des appareils conformes à toutes les réglementations appli­cables. Un court-circuit dans le réseau électrique ou tout appareil
connecté à l’Appareil peut endommager ce dernier.

⚠ RECOMMANDATION! Le Dispositif peut être connecté et peut

contrôler des circuits et appareils électriques uniquement s’ils sont

Avant d’installer/monter le Dispositif, assurez-vous que le réseau
soit hors tension (disjoncteurs coupés). Connecter le relais au ré­seau électrique et l’installer dans la console derrière l’interrupteur/
la prise de courant en suivant le schéma qui convient à l’usage
souhaité:
Se connecter au réseau électrique avec une alimentation 110­240V CA (Img.1) ou 24-240V CC* Raccordement au réseau élec­trique (Img.2).

câbler les câbles selon l’img.1. Installez un l de «O» à la charge et
de la charge au Neutre. Installez également un l du fusible à «L».

Connectez le Neutre à l’appareil. La dernière étape consiste à ins­taller un câble de l’interrupteur à la borne SW.
