Warranty Information

The SSL-RC10 is covered by a return to base warranty of twelve months from date of
purchase against defective parts or workmanship. Damage by liquid or extreme
mechanical treatment will not be covered.

Scope

This manual covered the hardware details of the SSL-RC10 remote control panel. It
should be read in conjunction with the appropriate software guide for the options you
have purchased.

Introduction

The SSL-RC10 is a remote control panel designed to provide remote control of broadcast
equipment. The unique user interface is designed to allow control of the features
required without distracting the operator from other duties. This makes the RC10 ideal
for vehicular mounted equipment.

Key Features:

● Mounting hole spacing the same as DZUS communications rack (MIL-F25173A).

● Two independent serial ports allowing simultaneous control two pieces of

equipment.

● LCD screens in each key cap allow both text and graphics to be displayed

dynamically.

● Each keys back light can change both colour and intensity.

● Remote control options for different manufacturers equipment via different

software options

Front Panel Detail & Connections

Description

The front panel of the SSL-RC10 is made up of six large push button switches. Each
switch has a LCD build into the key cap to allowing text and graphics to be changed
dynamically. The switch can also have its back light colour and intensity changed
dynamically

There is a 6 pin Lemo connector to allow the remote units to be configured, when pass­through mode is activated. Please refer to the appropriate software manual for further
details.
