• To reduce the risk of personal injury, the fan should not be used
where small children can reach it.
• Do not place the fan near eyes.
• Do not dispose of the batteries in fire because batteries may
explode or leak.
CAUTION:
• Install batteries, observing proper +/– polarities.
• Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc), heavy-duty or rechargeable (nickelcadmium) batteries.
• Do not let hair get caught in the fan blades.
Important Safety Instructions
Installing Batteries
1. For optimum performance, use fresh alkaline batteries
(4 AA required).
2. To install batteries, lift the latch on the battery
compartment door.
3. Install batteries, observing proper +/– polarities.
4. To close, press the battery compartment door.
5. If fan does not operate, make sure the batteries are
installed correctly.
Filling the Fan with Water
1. Turn the fan on its side and snap off the plastic cap.
2. Fill the bottle with water. Do not freeze water in the bottle.
3. To close, snap on the plastic cap.
General Instructions
Operating Instructions
To turn on the fan and mist, press the ON/OFF button once. The
button is located on the back of the product. To turn the fan off,
press the
ON/OFF button again.
Product Care
• Before storing the fan, remove the batteries.
• When not in use, remove the water.
• There are no user-serviceable parts in this product.
Do not disassemble.
• Packaging should be retained since it contains important
information.
Warranty
What Is Covered
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, with the exceptions stated below.
How Long Coverage Lasts
This warranty runs for 90 days from the date of original purchase.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or use other than as intended and described
in the product instruction manual, or loss or damage to batteries or removable parts.
What The Sharper Image Will Do
The Sharper Image warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship. When repair is
not practical, The Sharper Image will have the option to replace the defective product with one that is
the same or has similar functionality.
