Battery Installation:
This unit uses an AC adaptor (included) or optional 2 (two) AA batteries (not
included) for backup function
Battery Precautions
• Use only the size and type of batteries specif ied
• When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect installation of
battery may cause damage to the unit.
• Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., alkaline with carbon-zinc
or old batteries with new ones).
• If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to
prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.
• Do not dispose of batteries in f ire. Batteries may explode or leak.

Getting Started
Setting the Time
1. Press the HOUR button on the top panel. Hour digits will begin f lashing.
Press the HOUR button again to adjust your desired hour. After 5 seconds
the display will stop f lashing to indicate the hour is set.
2. Press the MINUTE button on the right hand side of the speaker. Minute digits will
begin f lashing. Press the MINUTE button again to adjust your desired minutes.
After 5 seconds the display will stop f lashing to indicate the minutes set.
3. Clock will automatically reset after power failure due to the convenient backup
battery included in the product.

Setting the Alarm
For your convenience, two separate alarms may be set:
Alarm 1 button
1. Press the ALARM 1 button and the Alarm 1 icon will appear on the display to
indicate which alarm is activated.
2. Press and hold the ALARM 1 button for 3 seconds and the hour digits will
f lash. Press the HOUR button to adjust to your desired hour. After 5 seconds
the display will stop f lashing to indicate the hour is set.
3. Press the MINUTE button and the minute digits will f lash. Press it again
to adjust to your desired minute and after 5 seconds the display will stop
f lashing to indicate the minute is set.
4. The ALARM MODE button allows you to select the Wake Mode of your
choice: iPod, iPhone, CD, Radio or Beep.
Alarm 2 button
1. Press the ALARM 2 button and the Alarm 2 icon will appear on the display to
indicate which alarm is activated.
2. Press and hold the ALARM 2 button for 3 seconds and the hour digits will
f lash. Press the HOUR button to adjust to your desired hour. After 5 seconds
the display will stop f lashing to indicate the hour is set.
3. Press the MINUTE button and the minute digits will f lash. Press it again
to adjust to your desired minute and after 5 seconds the display will stop
f lashing to indicate the minute is set.
4. The ALARM MODE button allows you to select the Wake Mode of your
choice: iPod, iPhone, CD, Radio or Beep.

Listening to your iPod®/iPhone
™
1. Press the POWER button, located on the top panel of alarm clock, to turn unit ON.
2. F it iPod carefully into dock, docking connector should easily match with
socket on your iPod.
Please Note: Do not force. Carefully slide iPod over dock connector to
avoid damage.
WARNING: INSERT AND PIN CONNECTOR ARE DESIGNED FOR APPLE
iPOD MUSIC PLAYERS ONLY. ATTEMPTING TO ATTACH OR FORCE ANY
NON-iPOD MUSIC PLAYER INTO THE ENCLOSED INSERT OR ONTO THE PIN
CONNECTOR CAN DAMAGE AND EVEN DESTROY YOUR DEVICE.
3. Press the AUDIO button to turn to the iPod or iPhone mode. The iPod or
iPhone icon will appear on the LCD display to indicate the iPod/iPhone mode
has been selected.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button
again to pause.
5. Press the or button to go to the next or previous track.
Note: Your iPod/iPhone will charge even if the POWER button is
turned off. The unit only needs to be plugged in for the iPod/iPhone
to charge.
Listening to other portable audio devices
If you have an iPod without a docking port or a different MP3 player, including other
portable audio devices, simply plug it into AUX IN (located behind unit) to play.
1. Press the POWER button, located on the top panel of alarm clock, to turn unit ON.
2. Press the AUDIO button to reach the AUX mode. Then AUX icon will appear in the
LCD display.
3. Turn ON and press PLAY on your external audio device.
4. Press the or buttons to adjust the volume.
NOTE: You may need to adjust the volume on the external device as well.
5. Press the POWER button to turn unit OFF.
NOTE: You may need to turn off your external audio device as well.
Volume Control
• Press to increase the volume level 0-10.
• Press to decrease the volume level 10-0.
Listening to a CD
1. Carefully press downward on the CD door (located top of unit) to pop open door.
Insert CD into place and close door.
2. Press the AUDIO button to select CD mode.
NOTE: It will take a few seconds to read disc. The total number of tracks and
total playing time of the CD will be displayed. The f irst track will begin to play
automatically.
3. Press the skip button or repeatedly to select a track.
Listening to the Radio
1. Press the AUDIO button to select radio mode. The radio icon will appear on the
LCD display to indicate the radio is on.
2. Press and hold the or button. The unit will automatically scan for
and then play radio station.
Storing Radio Stations
For your convenience, you may store a selection of up to ten of your favorite
radio stations.
1. F irst, tune to the radio station you want to keep on the preset control.
2. Press and hold the PRESET button for 3 seconds. Its designated number (for
example, “01“) f lashes on the display.
3. Press the PRESET button again to move toward your next preset radio station.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to store other radio stations or change existing
storage settings.

Using the Snooze Bar Functions
Snooze Operation
Press the SNOOZE bar after the alarm sounds. The alarm will be silenced and
return 9 minutes later. Snooze can be pressed several times during the 1 hour
alarm cycle. You may use this feature until you turn the alarm OFF.
Nap Operation
The Nap function will wake you after a nap of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes –
without the need to change your regular al1 or al2 settings.
1. If the system is playing audio, press the POWER button to OFF.
2. Toggle through the SNOOZE bar to the corresponding time of your choice: 15, 30,
45 or 60 minutes – as it will show on the LCD display.
3. Toggle through the Alarm MODE button until the corresponding wake mode icon
of your choice lights up on the LCD display.
4. The alarm will sound to wake you up after the selected number of minutes
has passed.
5. To cancel the Nap timer, press the SNOOZE bar until OFF shows on the LCD
display, which indicates the Nap function is disarmed.
Maintenance
To Store
You may leave the unit on display, or you can store it in its box in a cool, dry place.
To Clean
Use only a soft dry cloth to clean the enclosure of the unit.
NEVER use liquids or abrasive cleaner to clean.
Modif ications not authorized by the manufacturer may void user warranty.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct
the interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

SI PRODUCTS sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.
SI PRODUCTS warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your SI PRODUCTS product, mail the product and your dated sales receipt
(as proof of purchase), postpaid, to the following address:

SI PRODUCTS does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent
consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate SI PRODUCTS in any
way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse;
accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation;
unauthorized repairs or modif ications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped
product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended
maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use
during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other
conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of SI PRODUCTS.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the
product is purchased. A product that requires modif ications or adoption to enable it to operate in any
other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or
repair of products damaged by these modif ications is not covered under this warranty.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE
SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR F iTNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH
RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. SI PRODUCTS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR
ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY
REQUIRE MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE
DEFECTIVE WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. IF REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE,
SI PRODUCTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS IN LIEU
OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT.
This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged and/or resealed
products, including but not limited to sale of such products on Internet auction sites and/or sales of such
products by surplus or bulk resellers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately cease and
terminate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modif ied, without
the prior express and written consent of SI PRODUCTS.
This warranty provides you with specif ic legal rights. You may have additional rights which may vary from
state to state. Because of individual regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not

Instalación de las pilas:

Precauciones sobre las pilas
• Use únicamente el tamaño y tipo de pilas especif icado.

Conf iguración de la hora
1. Presione el botón de HORA en el panel superior. Los dígitos de la hora comenzarán
a parpadear. Presione el botón de HORA nuevamente para ajustar la hora deseada.
Después de 5 segundos la pantalla dejará de parpadear para indicar que la hora
está conf igurada.
2. Presione el botón de MINUTOS a la derecha del parlante. Los dígitos de los minutos
comenzarán a parpadear. Presione el botón de MINUTOS nuevamente para ajustar
los minutos deseados. Después de 5 segundos la pantalla dejará de parpadear para
indicar que los minutos están conf igurados.
3. El reloj se reiniciará automáticamente después de una falla de energía debido a la
práctica pila de respaldo incluida en el producto.

Conf iguración de la alarma
Para su comodidad, pueden establecerse dos alarmas separadas:
Botón de alarma 1
1. Presione el botón de ALARMA 1 y el ícono de Alarma 1 aparecerá en la
pantalla para indicar cuál alarma está activada.
2. Presione y mantenga presionado el botón de ALARMA 1 durante 3 segundos
y los dígitos de la hora parpadearán. Presione el botón de HORA para ajustar
la hora deseada. Después de 5 segundos la pantalla dejará de parpadear
para indicar que la hora está conf igurada.
3. Presione el botón de MINUTOS y los dígitos de los minutos parpadearán.
Presiónelo nuevamente para ajustar los minutos que desee y después de
5 segundos la pantalla dejará de parpadear para indicar que los minutos
están conf igurados.
4. El botón de MODO DE ALARMA le permite seleccionar el modo de despertar
de su preferencia: iPod, iPhone, CD, Radio o pitido (Beep).
Botón de alarma 2
1. Presione el botón de ALARMA 2 y el ícono de Alarma 2 aparecerá en la

Para escuchar su iPod®/iPhone
™
1. Presione el botón de ENCENDIDO, ubicado en el panel superior del despertador,
para ENCENDER la unidad.
2. Conecte el iPod con cuidado a la plataforma, el conector de la plataforma debe
coincidir fácilmente con el conector hembra de su iPod.
Atención: no lo fuerce. Deslice el iPod con cuidado sobre el conector de la plataforma
para evitar daños.
ADVERTENCIA: LOS INSERTOS ESTÁN CONCEBIDOS SÓLO PARA EQUIPOS DE
MÚSICA iPOD DE APPLE. EL INTENTAR SUJETAR O FORZAR CUALQUIER EQUIPO
DE MÚSICA QUE NO SEA iPOD EN LOS INSERTOS INCLUIDO O EN EL CONECTOR
DE AGUJA CAUSARÁ EL DAÑO O LA DESTRUCCIÓN DE SU DISPOSITIVO.
3. Presione la tecla AUDIO para pasar al modo iPod o iPhone. El ícono de iPod o iPhone
aparecerá en la pantalla LCD para indicar que se ha seleccionado el modo iPod/iPhone.
4. Presione el botón de REPRODUCCIÓN/PAUSA para reproducir. Presione el botón
de REPRODUCCIÓN/PAUSA nuevamente para pausar.
5. Presione el botón o para pasar a la pista siguiente o anterior.
Atencion: Su iPod/iPhone se carga aun si el botón POWER está apagado
(off). La unidad sólo necesita estar enchufado para que el iPod/iPhone
pueda cargarse.
Para escuchar otros dispositivos de audio portátiles
Si tiene un iPod sin un puerto de conexión con la plataforma o un reproductor de MP3
diferente, incluyendo otros dispositivos de audio portátiles, simplemente conéctelo a
“AUX IN” (entrada auxiliar) (ubicada detrás de la unidad) para reproducirlo.
1. Presione el botón de ENCENDIDO, ubicado en el panel superior del despertador,
para ENCENDER la unidad.
2. Presione el botón de AUDIO para activar el modo AUX. El ícono AUX aparecerá en la
pantalla LCD.
3. ENCIENDA y presione el botón de REPRODUCCIÓN en su dispositivo de audio externo.
4. Presione los botones
o para ajustar el volumen.
NOTA: puede que también tenga que ajustar el volumen en el dispositivo
externo.
5. Presione el botón de ENCENDIDO para APAGAR la unidad.
NOTA: puede que también tenga que apagar su dispositivo de audio externo.
Control del volumen
• Presione para subir el volumen entre 0 y 10.
• Presione
para bajar el volumen entre 10 y 0.
Para escuchar un CD
1. Con cuidado presione la tapa del compartimiento para CD (ubicada en la parte superior
de la unidad) hacia abajo para abrir la tapa. Introduzca el CD en su lugar y cierre la tapa.
2. Presione el botón de AUDIO para seleccionar el modo CD.
NOTA: tomará algunos segundos leer el disco. Se mostrarán el número total de pistas
y el tiempo de reproducción total del CD. La primera pista comenzará a reproducirse
automáticamente.
3. Presione el botón de saltar pista o repetidamente para seleccionar una pista.
Para escuchar la radio
1. Presione el botón de AUDIO para seleccionar el modo de radio. El ícono de radio
aparecerá en la pantalla LCD para indicar que la radio está encendida.
2. Presione y mantenga presionado el botón
o . La unidad buscará y luego
reproducirá estaciones de radio automáticamente.
Para guardar estaciones de radio
Para su comodidad, puede guardar una selección de hasta diez de sus estaciones de radio
favoritas.
1. Primero, sintonice la estación de radio que quiere guardar en el control de estaciones
preestablecidas.
2. Presione y mantenga presionado el botón de ESTACIÓN PREESTABLECIDA durante
3 segundos. Su número designado (por ejemplo, “01”) parpadeará en la pantalla.
3. Presione el botón de ESTACIÓN PREESTABLECIDA para pasar a su próxima estación
de radio preestablecida.
4. Repita los pasos 1 a 3 para guardar otras estaciones de radio o cambiar la
conf iguración de estaciones guardadas existentes.

Uso de las funciones de la barra de repetición
Uso de la alarma de repetición
Presione la barra “SNOOZE” (repetición) después de que la alarma suene. La alarma será
silenciada y volverá a sonar 9 minutos después. Puede presionarse el botón de repetición
varias veces durante el ciclo de alarma de una hora. Puede continuar utilizando esta
característica hasta APAGAR la alarma.
Uso de función “Nap” (siesta)
La función de Siesta lo despertará después de una siesta de 15, 30, 45 ó 60 minutos,
sin necesidad de cambiar sus conf iguraciones habituales de alarma 1 y alarma 2.
1. Si el sistema está reproduciendo audio, presione el botón de ENCENDIDO para
APAGARLO.
2. Cambie usando la barra de “SNOOZE” (repetición) a la hora correspondiente de su
elección: 15, 30, 45 ó 60 minutos, como se mostrará en la pantalla LCD.
3. Cambie usando el botón de MODO de alarma hasta que el ícono de modo de
despertar correspondiente de su elección se ilumine en la pantalla LCD.
4. La alarma sonará para despertarlo después de que la cantidad seleccionada de
minutos haya pasado.
5. Para cancelar el temporizador de siesta, presione la barra “SNOOZE” (repetición) hasta
que aparezca “OFF” (apagado) en la pantalla LCD, lo que indica que la función Siesta
está desactivada.
Mantenimiento
Para almacenar
Puede dejar la unidad en exhibición o puede guardarla en su caja en un lugar
fresco y seco.
Para limpiar
Para limpiar la carcasa de la unidad use sólo un paño suave y seco.
NUNCA use líquidos o limpiadores abrasivos para limpiar la unidad.
Las modif icaciones no autorizadas por el fabricante pueden anular la garantía del
usuario.
Atención: Este equipo ha sido ensayado y probado y se ha comprobado
que cumple con los límites de los dispositivos digitales de la Clase B, según la
Sección 15 de las Normas FCC. Estos límites están diseñados para proporcionar
una protección razonable contra interferencias dañinas en una instalación
residencial. Este equipo genera, usa y puede irradiar energía de radiofrecuencia
y, si no se instala y usa según las recomendaciones, puede causar interferencias
