OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Charging the Device

1. Please charge your Rechargeable Wine Opener for at least 12 hours prior to using it for the ﬁrst time.

2. Plug one end of the AC adapter into the Charging Stand, and the other end into an AC outlet.

3. Place the Rechargeable Wine Opener in the Charging Stand, ensuring that it is ﬁrmly in position and that it is fully engaged with the recharging connection. Note: The blue LED light is designed to stay on continuously, even after the device is fully charged.

4. When fully charged, this device will open 30-40 bottles before it needs to be recharged.

Opening a Wine Bottle

1. Remove the foil seal from the bottle using the included Foil Cutter (Fig. 2).

2. Place the Rechargeable Wine Opener on top of the wine bottle, making sure that it remains upright at all times. Note: If you hold the Rechargeable Wine Opener at an angle, it will not remove the cork properly (Fig. 3).

3. Hold the Rechargeable Wine Opener ﬁrmly and press the Down arrow button. The corkscrew will turn in a clockwise direction and enter the cork. Then it will gradually remove the cork from the bottle. When the Rechargeable Wine Opener mechanism stops, the cork has been fully removed from the bottle.

4. Lift the Rechargeable Wine Opener away from the bottle. To remove the cork, press the Up arrow button and the corkscrew will turn in a counterclockwise direction and release the cork (Fig. 4).

5. Always return the Rechargeable Wine Opener to the Charging Stand when you are ﬁnished with it. This will protect the device and recharge the battery while it is not in use.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

1. Do not operate the Rechargeable Wine Opener with a damaged

cord or plug, or if it has been damaged in any manner.

2. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse

the Rechargeable Wine Opener or Charging Stand in water or any other liquid. This may cause personal injury and/or damage to the product.

3. To protect against ﬁre, do not operate the device in the presence

of explosive and/or ﬂammable fumes.

4. Do not use the Rechargeable Wine Opener for anything other than

its intended use.

5. This product is intended for normal domestic household use only.

6. When using the Rechargeable Wine Opener, keep your workspace

clear and free from potential hazards.

7. Do not expose the Rechargeable Wine Opener or Charging Stand

to rain or other extreme conditions.

8. Never force the Rechargeable Wine Opener onto a bottle or

attempt to speed up the mechanism. The Rechargeable Wine Opener will work best when it is operated at its intended speed.

9. Do not touch or adjust the Rechargeable Wine Opener’s

mechanism or the corkscrew spiral. Always hold the Rechargeable Wine Opener by its plastic housing.

10. Do not attempt to open bottles if the device is not working correctly.

11. Do not attempt to open or repair the Rechargeable Wine Opener

or the Charging Stand. There are no user serviceable parts. In the event of a malfunction, please contact our customer service department.

12. Only recharge the Rechargeable Wine Opener using the Charging

Stand and power cord supplied.

13. Never remove the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord.
