Quick Start Guide

Congratulations on your purchase of the Sharper Image Lighted Drone. This Quick Start Guide
will give you a basic idea of what is involved to get started with your drone. If you are new to
flying drones, we strongly recommend you start by reading the full User’s Guide included in
this package. Your safety and satisfaction are our prime concerns.

STEP 1: CHARGE THE DRONE BATTERY

1. Charge your drone by connecting the included USB charging cable to the battery wire.

2. Plug the other end into a computer or laptop USB port.

3. The LED on the cable will turn ON while it is charging and turn OFF when it is fully charged.

TIP: Charge time is about 90 minutes.

STEP 2: INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERIES

1. Unscrew the battery compartment on the transmitter and open the battery door.

2. Install 4 AA batteries (not included) according to the correct polarity (“+” or “-”).

3. Replace the battery door.

CAUTION: Do not mix old and new batteries, and do not mix disposable/rechargeable batteries as
this may damage the transmitter.

STEP 3: PAIRING THE TRANSMITTER AND DRONE

1. Make sure the transmitter and drone have full battery power.

2. Inspect the flying area to make sure you are away from crowds, trees, airports, etc.

3. Place the drone on a flat surface, tail end pointing toward you.

4. Power on the drone by connecting the battery wire to the power supply wire.

5. Turn on the transmitter.

6. Push the throttle stick quickly up once, then pull it back down again. You will know it is paired
as the drone will stop blinking and the lights will remain on steadily. You now ready to fly.

NOTE: This pairing procedure must be performed every time the drone is turned on.

NOTE: Your Lighted Drone has many advanced features, including one-button 360° flips. Please
read the full User’s Guide to get the most fun and enjoyment from your drone.
