Thank you for purchasing the Sharper Image Heated Ice Scraper. It has been designed to quickly
and easily clear ice and snow from your car windshield and windows. Please take a moment to
read this guide and store for future reference.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Unwrap the electrical cord completely.

• Insert the 12V electrical plug into your
vehicle’s 12V DC outlet (a.k.a. the cigarette
lighter).

• Allow 2-3 minutes for the heating element
to warm up.

• Extend the handle by pushing the
extended release button.

• Activate the LED work light by pressing
the on/off button.

• Hold the Heated Ice Scraper over the
frozen glass surface for several seconds.

• Once melting begins, scrape the ice with
the scraper blade and move to another
area. The squeegee blade will remove any
remaining moisture.

IMPORTANT

• DO NOT LEAVE the Heated Ice Scraper in
one location for more than two minutes.

• The heating element should never make
direct contact with glass or other vehicle
surface.

• Unplug the Heated Ice Scraper and allow
to cool for 5 minutes before storing.

• Do not place the Heated Ice Scraper on
any surface that can be damaged by
heat.

• Disconnect the Heated Ice Scraper
immediately after use.

• Allow the Heated Ice Scraper to cool
completely before storage.

• Keep out of reach of children.

CAUTION

• The heating element on the Heated Ice
Scraper gets very hot – DO NOT TOUCH.

• The heating element can cause burns
and start a fire. Always handle with care.

• Do not expose the heating element
to skin, clothing or any of the vehicle
surfaces.

• Do not leave the Heated Ice Scraper
unattended when plugged in.

• Never place the Heated Ice Scraper
directly on glass or on any vehicle
surface.

• Do not use the heated Ice Scraper on
Plexiglass or on the plastic windows of
convertibles.
