CHARGING THE SPEAKER
PARTS IDENTIFICATION AND FUNCTIONS:
Thank you for purchasing the Sharper Image Bluetooth Diamond Speaker.
Please take a moment to review these instructions and retain them for future reference.
• To charge Speaker:
standard USB power adaptor.
• Insert other end of USB cable into USB Charging
Port on speaker.
• Red Indicator Light means Speaker is charging.
Light dims when fully charged.
• “Di Di Di” prompt every 30 seconds indicates
battery is low.
1. Hands-Free Button
• In Bluetooth mode:
• Press Button to pause and play music.
• When a phone call is incoming, voice
prompt will say “Incoming Call.”
• To answer call: Short-press the Hands-
Free Button.
• To refuse call: Long-press the Button.
• To hang up call: Short-press the Button.
• To callback last number: Long-press the
Button twice.

• I n Bluetooth mode, press Button to pause
and play music.

• When connected via Auxiliary Line-In
Port: Press Button to decrease volume.
“Di Di Di” sound indicates minimum
volume.
• When connected via Bluetooth:
• Long-press of Button decreases volume.
• Short-press returns to the previous song.
• Note: Default volume is set to 70%

• When connected via Auxiliary Line-In
Port: Press Button to increase volume. “Di
Di Di” sound indicates maximum volume.
• When connected via Bluetooth:
• Long-press of Button increases volume.
• Short-press advances to the next song.
9. Indicator Light
• What the Indicator Light means:
• Rapidly flashing blue: Searching for
Bluetooth connection.
• Slowly flashing blue: Bluetooth
connection established.
• Solid red: Speaker is charging or in Line-
In state.
• Note: When charging, red light will dim
when fully charged.

TO MAKE BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: SPECIFICATIONS
IMPORTANT
1. Turn power on.
2. Listen for voice prompt: “The Bluetooth device is
ready to pair.”
3. Indicator Light will rapidly flash blue as Speaker
searches for a connection.
4. Select “YGH-6009” on the device you wish to
connect.
5. If requested, type the password 0000.
6. Listen for voice prompt: “The Bluetooth device is
connected successfully.”
7. When Bluetooth connection is established, the
Indicator Light will slowly flash blue.
To Make Wired Connection:
Connect device to Speaker with a standard 3.5mm
audio cable. Plug one end into headphone jack of
your device. Plug the other end into the Line-In
Jack on Speaker. Turn Power Switch on. Indicator
Light will turn solid red.
NOTE: While cable is plugged into Line-In Jack,
Bluetooth connectivity and all other functions
except Power Switch are disabled. Unplugging
cable from the Line-In Jack will return Speaker
to Bluetooth mode, and Speaker will pair with the
last device it was connected to. If no previously
connected device is found, the Speaker will return
to pairing mode. If no Bluetooth connection is
made within five minutes, the Speaker will enter
a standby mode.

• Do not expose Speaker to high temperatures.
• Always try to recharge battery before it is fully
discharged. Remove charging cable as soon as
battery is fully charged.
• Turn off Bluetooth when charging battery.
• It is recommended not to use Bluetooth until
battery is fully charged.
