CHARGING

• Charge this device prior to first use.

• Charge this device with the included USB cable.

• While charging, the LED indicator will show a solid red
color, then turn off when charging is complete.

EASY PAIRING / FIRST TIME PAIRING

• Slide the power switch to the “ON” position.

Battery: 3.7V/180mAh

Standby time: Up to 300 hrs.

Talk time: Up to 10 hrs.

Music play time: 8-10 hrs. depending on volume

• Slide the power switch to the “ON” position.

• When the headset enters pairing mode, the LED
indicator will be alternately flashes blue and red LED
lights. (Speech: “Ready to pair.”)

• Using your smartphone or tablet, find the Bluetooth
Menu and select “Search For” or “Add” new devices.

• Select “HBS-730” to pair it with your smartphone or
tablet.

• If you are asked for the Pass/PIN code during the
pairing procedure, please enter “0000” (4 zeros).

• Once pairing is completed, you will hear a “paired”
(Speech: “Your headset paired.”)

• After pairing successfully, be sure to “Connect” to the
HBS-730. (Speech: “Connected.”)

• Some handsets might ask for permission to access
your phone’s contact list. If you receive a message
from your handset, please select “OK” or “Allow
Access.”

NOTE: This device will automatically turn off if not paired
within 3 minutes.

MANUAL PAIRING / PAIRING WITH ANOTHER DEVICE
OR RE-PAIRING

• When the headset enters Pairing Mode, the LED
indicator will be alternately flashing blue and red LED
lights. (Speech: “Ready to pair.”)

• When the solid blue light is illuminated, follow the
same steps as Easy Pairing above.

NOTE: This device will automatically turn off if not paired
within 3 minutes.

CALLING

• Answer a Call

When there is an incoming call, the headset will ring
and vibrate. Briefly press the CALL button to answer
the incoming call.

• Make a Call (Last Number Redial)

Press and hold the Call button for one second.

• Make a Call (Voice Dial)

Briefly press the Call button to activate your
smartphone’s voice command menu (Note: This
Function is only compatible with the iPhone.)

• End a Call

Briefly press the CALL button.

• Call Waiting

Press and hold the Call button for one second.

• Call Reject

Press and hold the Call button for one second when
the headset rings. (Speech: “Call Rejected.”)

• Mic Mute

Press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME
DOWN buttons simultaneously for 1 second to mute/
unmute the Mic during conversation. (Note: This
Function is only compatible with the iPhone.)

AUDIO STREAMING

• Play

Briefly press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP button.

• Pause

While playing music, briefly press the PLAY/PAUSE/
STOP button.

• Stop

While playing music, press and hold the PLAY/
PAUSE/STOP button.

• Next Song

Briefly press the FF button.

• Previous Song

Briefly press the REW button.

• Fast Forward

Press and hold the FF button.

• Rewind

Press and hold the REW button.

• Equalizer

While playing music, press and hold the VOLUME UP
AND VOLUME DOWN buttons simultaneously for 1
second to switch between EQs: Bass Boost(Default) /
Normal / Treble Boost.

• SMS Reader

Your Wireless Bluetooth Sport Headset supports
SMS reading on Android based devices. In the
Google Play Store, search for the LG “BT Reader”
app and install it on your device to use this function.

• Battery Status Alert

- When the battery is low, an announcement will be

made once every 2 minutes.

- If the battery is not charged, the headset will
turn off.

• Calling function

Voice Dialing and Last Number Redial features work
with the primary smartphone (or whichever phone
made the last outgoing call).

• Call waiting

- While speaking on an active call, press the call
button for 1 second to switch to an incoming call.

- To switch between 2 active calls, press the call
button for 1 second.

- To end both calls, briefly press the call button.

- If both smartphones are receiving an incoming call,
the headset will default to the primary phone.
