Lighted Globe HEPA Air Purifier

Congratulations on your purchase of the Lighted Globe HEPA Air
Purifier from Sharper Image. This product is designed for a long
life of clean air and aromatherapy. Please take a moment to read
this user’s guide and store it for future reference.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The fan draws air through the openings in the unit. The air is
purified through a HEPA filter, which captures pollen, bacteria and
small particles. Odors are removed by the activated carbon layer
on the filter.

POWER SWITCH

• Press the power switch once to turn the device on.
The blue LED light will turn on.

• Press the power switch a second time to turn the
LED light off.

• Press the power switch a third time to turn the
device off.

HOW TO USE AROMATHERAPY FUNCTION (OPTIONAL)

• Open the top.

• Add 2-3 drops of essential oil on the cotton sheet.

• Place the cotton sheet into the aroma cup.

• Connect the USB cable.

• Press the On/Off button.

FILTER REPLACEMENT

• The filter lifespan depends of the frequency of use
and your air quality.

• As a general rule, replace the filter approximately
every 5 months (depending on use and air quality).

• Replace the cotton and essential oil at least every
45 days.

BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE
FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC
SHOCK, AND INJURY TO PERSONS, INCLUDING THE
FOLLOWING:

1. Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the
units rated specification before operating.

2. Keep out of reach of children.

3. Do not allow children to play with any product
packaging, such as plastic bags.

4.

To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs,
near heat registers, radiator, stoves or heaters.

5.

DO NOT place this air purifier near heat sources such
as stoves, radiators or heaters. Do locate your purifier
indoors, near an electrical outlet. The purifier should be
at least 10 cm away from the wall for best results.

6.

DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or
plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or if it has been
dropped or damaged in any manner.

7.

Always place device on a firm, flat level surface, at least
60cm above the floor.

8.

NEVER tilt or move the unit while it is operating.

9.

Shut off and unplug before moving the unit.

10. DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this unit. The inside of the unit
contains no user serviceable parts.

11. Do not plug in the cord with wet hands, as electrical
shock could result.

12. NEVER use detergents, gasoline, glass cleaner, furniture
polish, paint thinner or other household solvents to
clean any part of the purifier.
