Operating systems: No need for driver installation if the operating system is Windows ME / 2000 / XP / VISTA or above (Windows 98 is excepted)
MEMORY
Note: Your device has a 4 GB Micro SD Card already inserted, however it supports up to 8GB. To transfer files, we recommend using the included USB cable instead of removing the memory card.
OPERATION
To set the clock
Gently pull out the clock’s stem (located near the 3 on the face) and rotate the stem to the proper time. Then, push the stem back, as you would a typical watch or clock.
Switching on
In power off mode, press the Power On / Off / Record / Save button (1) until the red light stays on for several seconds. The red light will turn off and a green light will turn on, indicating the device has entered standby mode. Note: In
standby mode, the camera will shut down automatically in 1 minute without any operation.

Recording video and audio manually
1. In standby mode, press the Power On / Off / Record / Save
button (1) once. The green light flashes 6 times then turns off,
indicating it has started recording.
2. To stop recording, press the Power On / Off / Record / Save
(1) once. The green light will turn on, showing that the video has been saved and the device is back in standby mode. For safety, every video file will be saved every 5 minutes. Note:
When the memory is full, the device will overwrite the oldest file automatically to make room for newer videos.
Recording video and audio by motion detection
1. Under standby mode, press Function Button (2) until the red
light flashes and then turns off. This means it is now in motion detection recording mode. When the camera moves or when the video subjects are moving, it starts to record automatically.
2. When the camera detects no motion, it will stop recording
and save the video automatically. In motion detection recording mode, when the video subjects move again, it will record automatically again.
3. To manually save the recordings, press the Power On /
Off / Video / Save button (1) once. The green light will come on, showing the video is saved and the device will return to standby mode.
Switching off
In any mode, press the Power On / Off / Video / Save button (1) for several seconds. The red light flashes 3 times then turns off, indicating that the device is powered off. Note: In manual and
motion detection mode, when you shut down with the Power On / Off / Video / Save button, the system will first save the video file, then power off.

System reset
Should you encounter an error in recording, you may need to reset your recording system. Press the Power On / Off / Video / Save button (1) and the Function button (2) at the same time. All the lights will turn off, indicating it is powered off. The system will also be reset. Note: If you shutdown with this
method, your last video file will not be saved.
Charging
Charge the clock for 2 hours before using it for the first time. Connect the device to a computer via the included USB cable while powered off. The green light of the camera stays on, and a red light flashes while being charged. When the device is fully charged, the green light will turn on and the red light will turn off. It should charge fully in 2-3 hours. Do not leave it charging for more than 4 hours.
Video playback
In power off mode, connect the camera to a computer via USB cable to play back video on computer. Please make sure that you have some video playback software (such as Quick Time player, KM Player or M player) before connecting. If you do not, a disc is provided that has a video player for installation.
1. Go to My Computer to search for the Removable Drive.
2. Click on Removable Drive, then click through the folders
until you find your images and video that you wish to view.
3. To delete files: right click on the file you wish to delete
and hit delete.
Note: On review of your video, you will hear the internal ticking of the clock mechanism during playback.

Setting the time on screen
During video playback, your device will show the recording time in the lower right corner of the video. Please set time as follows:
1. Insert the user manual CD into the computer.
2. Open the file: update time tool V2.0.
3. Click the file, then the time of the Motion Activated Camera
Desk Clock will be synchronized with your computer.
ATTENTION
1. When recording, if the power is low, the red light flashes
quickly three times, the system will save the video first, then turn off automatically.
2. When there is not enough memory left, the device will
automatically delete the oldest files and continue recording.
3. When taking video continually, the system will automatically
generate a new video file after every operation.
4. For optimal video performance, record in a well-lit
environment, keep the camera vertical and stable, and keep a proper distance from the scene you want to record in order to achieve the best effect.
5. The time it takes for computers to recognize this device
varies. Please be patient while your computer recognizes this device. If the computer can’t identify your device, please make sure your operating system, drivers and USB interface cable are in good working order, then try to connect again.
6. For best playback, you may have to drag the files onto your
computer, and then open them from your computer.
Note: As with many high-tech devices, it may take a little time to get familiar with the Motion Activated Camera Desk Clock. Please take a few minutes to read these instructions and practice using the device. Before long, you’ll be an expert! Be sure to save these instructions for future reference.
