1. Change carried out in the parts code of the connector cover.

2.General: The discontinuance of the fusing wire which was carried out in accordance with a

change that was carried out in the shape of the connector cover was reported in Technical Report No. SP-2286. There was a change that was carried out in the part code as well, but this change was not reported in the Technical Report, and is therefore hereby reported.

3.Action: ∗ 1 Japanese domestic production: From the start of 1998 January production.

Chinese (SOCC) production: From the start of 1997 November production. French (SMF) production: From the start of 1997 December production.

2. Change in the gear in the drive unit carried out as a measure to improve productivity.

unit. This action has been carried out as a measure to improve productivity.

2.General: A change has been carried out in the maker of various parts that are used in the optical

unit. This action has been carried out as a measure to improve productivity. Please refer to the parts list for details concerning this change.

3.Action: ∗ 2 Running change from 1998 mid-July production.

4. Change carried out in the attachment position of the interlock switch.

2.General: The positioning holes of the fan duct (round holes) have been changed from the rear

side to the front side. This action has been carried out as a measure to stabilize the attachment position of the interlock switch.

5. Measure to improve the draw of the solenoid.
