MEASURE TO ALLEVIATE PROBLEMS OF JAMS
OCCURRING IN FRONT OF THE FUSING UNIT.

1.Model Name: SF-2120/1120

2.General: As a measure to alleviate problems of jams occurring due to curling of the copy paper

during double-side copy operations using the ADU, the attachment of three (3) mylar
sheets was carried out to the fusing cover section, but even with such action carried out
there were occasionally jams which occurred due to the degree of curling of the copy
paper. As a measure to alleviate this problem a change has been carried out in the
length of all three mylar sheets.
Furthermore, in addition the change described above, the two (2) gate mylar sheets
which were attached to the DR frame lower have been discontinued, and the addition of
four (4) copy paper retainer sheets has been carried out.
