1. Action to alleviate problems of grinding of the MG roller.
1.Model Name: SF-2116/2118/1016/1018/2020/2120/1020/1120
2.General: There have been problems reported of grinding occurring to the flange on the magnetic
roller R side of the developing unit. As a measure to alleviate this problem, a change
has been carried out in the material of the flange on the magnetic roller R side. The new
flange is made of anti-friction aluminum.
3.Action: From the start of 1998 March production.
2. Action to improve the adjustment performance of the toner density sensor level.

2.General: The level adjustment value of the toner density sensor in the developing unit was too
high, causing problems of deviation due to the developer lots, and occasionally
problems of adjustments being unable to be carried out due to reasons such as having
been left standing for too long a time, etc. As a measure to alleviate these problems, a
change has been carried out and the ATC fine adjustment value is being used.
3.Action: From the start of 1998 March production.
