1. Change in the lens wire spring of the optical unit carried out as a measure to
improve productivity.

2.General: A change has been carried out in the springs used in the optical unit. The lens wire
stopper spring and the drive wire spring used in the optical unit have been changed to a
single spring construction type. This action has been carried out as a measure to
improve productivity.
• The attachment direction of the spring is
described in the figure shown to the right.
• When the spring is in the extended
position, it should be secured by being
hooked by the U-shaped portion.
3.Action: From 1997 mid-November production.
2. Discontinuance of the pressure release wire in the fusing unit carried out as a
measure to improve productivity.

2.General: The fusing wire has been attached so that the fusing pressure release is carried out at
the same time as when the frame is opened. A change has been carried out in the shape
of the connector cover, however, and it is now possible for the new part to carry out the
same function as the pressure release wire. In accordance with this change the fusing
wire has been discontinued.
