OPERATIONS IN THE ADU UNIT.

1. Measure to alleviate problems of the toner leaking from the toner hopper.
1.Model Name: SF-2025/2030/2040
2.General: There have been problems of the toner leaking from the mixing shaft section during
toner feeding operations. As a measure to alleviate this problem, the addition of a cover
sheet has been carried out.

Note:
<1> All attachment surfaces should be wiped with
alcohol. (In particular, care should be exercised
to wipe the bottom surfaces of the ribs.)
<2> Remove the sheet attached on the two-sided tape,
bend surface (B) of the sheet along the bending
standard (A) and attach.
<3> Attach to the hopper ribs.

3.Action: Running change from 1998 March production.

2. Change carried out in the copy paper cassette in machines bound for the Chinese
market.
1.Model Name: SF-1025/2022/2027/2035/2025/2030/2040/CM11/D19/D20/ D22
SF-2050/2052
2.General: The addition of holes for original document tray insertion, and of paper size markings
has been carried out to the copy paper cassette of models SF-2025 and 2052 in
machines bound for the Chinese market. This action has been carried out as a measure
to comply with Chinese standards. In accordance with the change described above a
change has also been carried out in the same copy paper cassette of all of the models
listed above. It is important to note that with the exception of machines bound for the
Chinese market, all other old and new parts are interchangeable.
3.Action: From the 1st lot of 1998 January production.
3. Measure to alleviate problems of curling during paper feeding operations in the ADU
unit.
1.Model Name: SF-DM11
2.General: A change has been carried out in the inner diameter of the clutch spring of the calling
roller to increase the transport power. This action has been carried out as a measure to
alleviate problems of paper curling during ADU paper feeding operations. In addition to
the change described above, a change has also been carried out in the color of the
spring. The new springs are gray.
3.Action: From the 1st lot of 1998 April production.
