1. Measure to improve problems of scattering of the toner in the developing unit.

2.General: There was a possibility of scattering of the toner in the developing unit caused by
damage which can occur to the drum in the developing unit when the DV side seal F
comes in contact with the drum. As a measure to alleviate this problem, a change has
been carried out in the DV side seal F, making it thinner to avoid contact with the drum.
