1. Measure to alleviate problems of abnormal noise from the PS roller section.
1.Model Name: SF-2050
2.General: There was a possibility of abnormal noise occurring when the brake collar (plastic)
inside the PS transport unit comes in contact with the brake plate (plate metal). As a
measure to alleviate this problem, a change in the thickness of the plastic slider which
was currently being used has been carried out. The thickness of the plastic slider has
been increased to prevent the two parts from coming in contact with each other.
3.Action: From the 1st lot of 1997 October production.

2.General: A change has been carried out in the outer diameter of the heat proof bushing in the
fusing unit. This action has been carried out as a measure to alleviate problems of
abnormal noise from the fusing section.
In accordance with this change the part code has also been changed.
