1.REGARDING HEAT-RESISTANT GREASE.
2.A CHANGE TO THE FUSING SECTION’S HEAT INSULATION BUSH
INSTALLATION DIRECTION.
1. Regarding heat-resistant grease.
1.Model Name: SF-2050
2.General: In order to prevent a strange noise from being emitted by the heat roller in the fusing
unit, we have applied heat resistant grease to all units from the first unit produced on,
where indicated by the arrows in the following diagram. We have also established the
heat-resistant grease as a service part. Use it when a strange noise is emitted by the
heat roller, or when changing the heat roller (400K maintenance cycle).
Applied a rice grain’s worth of heat-resistant
grease to the areas indicated by the arrows
(where the insulator bush is in contact).
2. A change to the fusing section’s heat insulation bush installation direction.
1.Model Name: SF-2050
2.General: In order to prevent strange noises from being emitted by the fusing gear, we have
changed the shape of the upper CL24T gear and the position and direction of insertion
of the heat insulation bush. (From the first lot produced)
