2.General: There was a problem of damage sometimes occurring to the drawer connector. The
damaged was caused because the insertion hole for the drawer connector of the DV joint in the drum drive unit was too small. As a measure to alleviate this problem the hole has been slightly enlarged. In addition to the change described above, a change has been carried out in the shape of a portion of the attachment plate for the main PWB. This change has been carried out as a measure to establish interchangeability between the model listed above and other models.

2. Measure to alleviate problems of jams in the ADU unit.
1.Model Name: SF-2050
2.General: There was a problem of copy paper jams sometimes occurring especialy on the
inch-size papers. This problem was caused because the space between the fixing plate and the standard plate of the ADU unit was too small. As a measure to alleviate this problem, a change has been carried out in the shape of the fixing plate to increase the space.

3. Measure to establish interchangeability of parts between models carried out as a measure to improve productivity.

2.General: A change has been carried out in the shape of some of the parts that are used in the
fusing unit. This change has been carried out as a measure to establish interchangeability of the parts between the model listed above and other models.
3.Description:

4. Measure to improve operationability after the machine has been cleared of jams.

2.General: The opening angle of the paper delivery reversion unit section has been increased. This
change has been carried out as a measure to improve operationability when the machine has been cleared of copy paper jams in the paper delivery reversion unit section.
3.Description: A change has been carried out in the shape of the paper delivery fixing plate. This
change has been carried out in order to enlarge the opening angle of the paper delivery reversion unit section described above.
An ‘‘N’’ mark has been added for units after the change has been carried out.
A change has been carried out in the bend angle.
4.Action: From 1997 mid-June production.
5. Change in the shape of parts and change in materials carried out as a measure to improve productivity.

2.General: The changes described below have been carried out in the transport upper paper guide
in the transport unit. These changes have been carried out as a measure to improve productivity.
3.Description: <1> The direction of the return (burr) of the edge section has been reversed, and is now
on the mylar attachment surface side. This change eliminates the affects of the copy paper flow. <2> The material has been changed from silver top to SECC-TJ.
