1. Change in the main switch carried out as a measure to improve productivity.

1.Model Name: SF-2022/2122/2027/2127/1025/2025/2030/2035/2040

2.General: There was a problem of improper installation of the main switch in the left assembly of

the front frame of the models listed above. The problem was caused by the method of installation, which resulted in the outer frame of the main switch getting caught on the raised portion of the switch attachment section of the front frame left when inserting the main switch into the left assembly of the front frame. As a measure to alleviate this problem, a change in the shape of the main switch attachment section of the left assembly of the front frame has been carried out. Note: Previously the left assembly of the front frame and the left cabinet assembly were

different for the SF-2022 series and the SF-2035 series, but with this change both the left assembly of the front frame and the left cabinet assembly for both model series have been standardized to the ones used for the SF-2035 series.

Caution: There have been no part establishments carried out for the left assembly of the

front frame. Furthermore, the old and new cabinets are not interchangeable, and it is therefore essential to attach the old cabinets to the old frames, and the new cabinets to the new frames.

2.General: The changes in parts described below have been carried out in the 500 cassette copy

paper feeding unit of the models listed above. These changes have been carried out as a measure to improve productivity.

1) A change has been carried out in the shape of the brake spring.

2) In accordance with the change described above, the screws have become unnecessary, and they have therefore been discontinued.
