1. Change in the shape of the catch bracket carried out as a measure to improve
productivity.

2.General: A change has been carried out in the shape of the catch bracket in the models listed

above. This change has been carried out in accordance with a request by our suppliers,
as a measure to improve productivity.

3.Action: From 1996 December production.

2. Change in the shape of the cardboard sheet of the packing cartons carried out as a
measure to improve operationability.

1.Model Name: SF-A54/55

2.General: A change has been carried out in the shape of the cardboard sheet of the packing

cartons. This change has been carried out in accordance with a request from our
suppliers, asking to change the shape of the sheet to eliminate problems of front and
back packing directions, and thus improve operationability. In order to eliminate the
problem of front and back packing direction, the difference in shape between left and
right sides of the cardboard sheet has been eliminated and both sides have thus been
unified.

3.Action: From 1996 December production.

3. Measure to improve image distortion in the SF-A56/17 models.

1.Model Name: SF-A17/18/56/57

2.General: The retainer holder (0CW2214P520//) which has until now been used only in models

produced for the Japanese domestic market is now being used in machines bound for
overseas markets as well. This change has been carried out as a measure to improve
problems of image distortion in the models listed above.

3.Action: From 1996 December production.
