1. Change in the magnet catch and the MG attachment plate as a measure to improve
productivity.

2.General: The changes described below have been carried out as a measure to improve productivity.
3.Description: ➀ A change has been carried out in the
method of securing the MG attachment
plate. The MG attachment plate was
previously secured by two screws, one
on either side of the plate. This has
been changed and the MG attachment
plate is now secured by a single screw
in the middle of the plate.
(Because the old parts and the new
parts are interchangeable, there has
been no change carried out in the part
code, but the new MG attachment
plates have a hole positioning mark
inscribed on both sides of the plate.)
➁ A change has been carried out in the
maker of the magnet catch.
4.Action: From the start of 1996 October production.

2. Measure to alleviate problems of diagonal feeding from the upper paper cassette.
1.Model Name: SF-2022/2027/2035/1025/2025/2030/2040
2.General: A change has been carried out in the shape of a portion of the U-turn paper guide in the
transport unit. In accordance with this change, a change has been carried out in the
part code. These changes have been carried out as a measure to alleviate problems of
diagonal feeding from the upper paper cassette.
3.Action: ∗ Japanese production: Running change from 1996 mid-July production.
Chinese (SOCC) production: Running change from 1996 mid-October production.
3. Change in the manual paper feeding lever in the manual multi paper feeding unit as
a measure to improve productivity.
1.Model Name: SF-2022/2027/2035/1025/2025/2030/2040
2.General: A change has been carried out in the maker of some of the parts used in the manual
multi paper feeding unit due to discontinued production of the parts. This change has
been carried out as a measure to improve productivity.
Please refer to the parts list for details concerning this change.
3.Action: From the start of 1996 October production.
4. Change in the software of the main ROM.
1.Model Name: SF-2025/2030/2040
2.General: A change has been carried out in the software content of the IC (ROM) in the main
PWB, and the software has thus been upgraded. The software upgrade was carried out
for the reasons described below . In accordance with this change, a change has also
been carried out in the part codes for the IC (ROM) and the main PWB. Furthermore,
the part codes for machines bound for Taiwan were different from the other machines,
but with this change the codes have all been standardized.
