1.Model name: SF-2025/2030/2040
2.General: Additions of parts have been made, and changes have been carried out on some of the
parts in the models listed above, and are hereby reported.
3.Description: (1) The thickness of the cushions has been changed in the toner hopper unit to prevent
the toner from leaking.
This change is effective from 1995, mid-December production.
(2) A change in the diameter of the upper heat roller in the fusing unit has been carried
out to prevent copy image misalignment.
SF-2040 This change has been carried out from 1995, mid-December production.
SF-2025/2030 This change is effective from the start of 1996 January production.
(3) From the start of mass production suede had been attached to the end portions of
both sides as a temporary measure to prevent light from leaking in the BL.
As a permanent measure the contact surface of the suede has been increased.

(4) A change has been carried out in the motor cover mylar sheets attached to the main
motor and mylar sheets have been attached to the PC sensor section in the DR cleaner
unit to prevent paper jams due to copy paper curling during B5R double-side copy
operations.
