1. Trouble shooting SPF paper delivery JAMs.

1.Model Name: SF-2214 SN-1430 (Only for machines bound for the USA).

2.General: The back side of the glass fixing plate of the SPF was slightly raised (0.9 mm) and jams sometimes occurred during paper delivery of the original copies due to the resulting space between the paper delivery opening and the sl it upper paper guide being too narrow. To alleviate this problem the measure described below has been carried out. The measure was carried out to alleviate problems of copy blurring at the rear edge of the copies.

3.Description: As a measure to alleviate problems of copy blurring at the rear edge of the copies, and to improve SPF motor control, The SPF glass fixing plate has been changed back to its original shape, eliminating the space caused by the raised SPF glass fixing plate. 2. Change in the installation locations of parts attached to the back side of the SPF PWB.

1.Model Name: SF-2214 SN-1430 (Only for machines bound for the USA).

2.General: A change has been carried out in the location of the resistor (located in the position indicated by the arrow in the figure shown to the right) which was installed on the back side of the SPF PWB. The resistor has been relocated, and is now installed on the front side of the SPF PWB (silk screen R331). This change was carried out as a measure to improve production.

3.Description: A change in the SPF control PWB part code has been carried out in accordance with the change described above.

4.Action: ∗ Japanese domestic production: Running change from 1995 mid-December production.

Chinese (SOCC) production: Running change from 1995 mid-December production.
