procedure. (The PWB’s from the part center, which are used for replacement, are always set to English display.)
A. Procedure
0.ENGLISH 1.JAP ANESE
2.GERMAN 3.FRENCH
2. Input the number of the desired language and press PSW.
B. The difference between this and the older machines. In the older machines, each language had a data ROM, and when SIM 26-06 was done, the language was set to the appropriate one for the market. However, the new models’ ROM includes English, Japanese, German, and French. Therefore, it is necessary to set both the market (SIM. 26-06) and the language (SIM 26-22) separately. The uses of SIM.26-06 and SIM.26-22: SIM.26-06: Sets the market for machine control (AB series or inch series; toner saving mode; etc.) SIM.26-22: Sets the market for the display.
