1. Action to prevent damage from occurring on the harness of the fusing unit.

1.Model name: SF-2050

2.General: The harness of the heater lamp sometimes comes in contact with the frame when the

fusing unit is inserted in the main body of the machine itself, causing the harness to become damaged. To alleviate this problem the changed described below have been carried out.

3.Description: Previously two wire saddles were used to fasten down the harness. As a more permanent measure, however, one side has now been fastened with a snap band to prevent the harness from coming in contact with the frame.

concerning the direction.

After the connector has been attached to the heater lamp and fastened with the wire saddle, the harness should be fastened down with the snap band.

When this procedure is carried out care should be exercised to prevent the harness from sagging in the section marked by the shaded area. (The harness should not be allowed to sag in the direction marked by the arrows in the figure.)

4.Action: From the start of 1995 October production.

2. Action to prevent the charger line of the TC case unit from being cut.

1.Model name: SF-2050

2.General: The wire of TC holders F and R sometimes becomes cut in the V-shaped groove

section which supports the wire during transport operations of the TC case. To alleviate this problem, the V-shaped groove which supports the wire has had an “R” provided.

3.Action: From the start of 1995 November production.
