1. Action to prevent the attachment parts of the operation PWB from coming in contact
with the operation panel.
1.Model name: SF-2116/ 2118/1016/1018
2.General: The capacitors and transistors attached to operation PWB L came in contact with the
operation panel, and to alleviate this problem the parts were folded over after being
attached to the PWBs. As a permanent measure, however, the PWB pattern has been
changed, effecting a change in the attachment position of the parts. Also as a result of
this change the PWB has become smaller.
There was also a possibility of the ground terminal of the tact switch on operation PWB
R coming in contact with the ten key pad. To alleviate this danger the attachment
direction of the tact switch has been changed.
3.Description: The parts code for operation PWB R has been changed, but operation PWB L is
interchangeable and therefore the parts code has not been changed.
Note: Please refer to the parts list for details concerning the changes that have been
carried out on the capacitors and transistors.
4.Action: From 1995 mid-September production.

2. Improvement measures for diminishing load torque of the fusing bearing and
prevention of abnormal noise.

2.General: A change in the shape of the roller fixing block has been carried out as an improvement
measure for the diminishing load torque of the fusing bearing and for the prevention of
abnormal noise.
In accordance with this change the parts codes for the fusing bearings R/F have also
been changed.

Parts with a black marking or with a "O" marked in
the location designated by the arrow in the figure
above have had the changes described above
carried out.
2.General: A mylar and sheet have been added to the left cabinet attachment section and the AC
attachment plate as a measure to prevent the main harness of the lower unit from
becoming loose.
