MEASURE TO ALLEVIATE ABNORMAL NOISE IN THE ADU DRIVE UNIT.

1.Model name: SF-DM11

2.General: Locking of the clutch and abnormal noise sometimes occurred in the clutch section of

the ADU drive unit. The cause of the problem is thought to be that the insect screw which is used to fix the SP clutch to the clutch shaft was sometimes driven at an angle instead of perpendicularly. To alleviate this problem, the measure described below was carried out.

3.Description: As shown in the figure to the right, the drive shaft in the clutch has been lengthened to facilitate tightening operations so that the screws will be driven perpendicularly, and not at an angle.

4.Action: From the start of 1995 June production.
