1. Method to prevent abnormal noise from occurring between the base plate and the
2nd base plate.

2.General: Abnormal noise sometimes occurs when the points
of contact between the base plate and the 2nd base
plate (indicated in the figure shown at right by the
arrows) are not perfectly fastened down. This
condition does not present any particular problems
to normal running operations of the machine, but as
an improvement measure, the following changes
have been carried out.

washer has been added when tightening the screws.

2.General: The IC used in the motor control PWB has been changed as an improvement measure
for the detection performance of the paper detection sensor in the 2nd base plate unit.
3.Action: Running change from 1995 mid-August production.
3. Measure to prevent abrasive noise from the toner transport pipe.

2.General: The abrasive noise which occurs from the toner transport pipe and the waste toner
transport spring has not presented any problems after changes were carried out in the
transport spring, etc., but the material used in the transport pipe has been changed as
an additional improvement for better performance.

4. Measure to prevent the attachment screws of the lock lever from loosening.

2.General: The attachment screws of the lock lever sometimes become loosened during the
production process, so that one side does not lock. To alleviate this problem, the
screws have been changed.
