1. Improvement measure for the lower paper feeding unit.

1.Model name: SF-2018/1018, SF-CM15.

2.General: The following changes and additions of parts in the lower paper feeding unit have been

carried out as measures for the following improvements.

3.Description: (1) In order to maintain the spatial distance with the clutch, the distance on the side of
the W-base plate delivery roller shaft clutch has been shortened by 0.5 mm.

(2) One of the fixing screws of the base plate paper delivery plate has been

discontinued to improve the return movement of the paper delivery bearing holder

(3) A guide sheet has been added to the vertical delivery guide unit to improve the

detection performance of the open/closed detection switch.

2. Change in worm screws in the clutch to prevent warping.

1.Model name: SF-2116/ 2118/1016/1018, SF-CM15.

2.General: The W-point worm screws have been changed and the assembly process is now to be

carried out in-house instead of at the makers. These changes have been carried out in
order to stabilize the binding torque of the worm screws used in the clutches listed
below.

3.Description: With the changes carried out as described above, the supply of the clutch and the worm

screws as service parts has been changed, and the parts are now offered separately.

4.Action: From the start of 1995 October production.

3. Addition of plastic bags for the paper delivery tray guide.

1.Model name: SF-2116/ 2118/1016/1018.

2.General: There was a possibility of the grease, etc. of the paper delivery tray guide soiling other

parts which have been packaged in the same boxes, and to alleviate this problem
packaging method of the paper delivery tray guides has been changed. The paper
delivery tray guides are now put in plastic bags before being packaged in the shipping
boxes.

3.Action: From 1995 mid-August production.
