1. Improvement measures to lower the resistance when the DVcartridge is inserted.

2.General: A portion of the DV cartridge has been cut away as shown in the figure below, to lower

the resistance when the cartridge is inserted into the developing unit.

2. Improvement measures to decrease the contact load between the dark box cover and the upper lens sheet.

SN-1420/1430(USA versions only)

2.General: An upper lens sheet has been attached to the upper surface of the lens carriage to

prevent light from entering. There is a danger, however, of contact load on the dark box cover. To alleviate this problem, the mylar sheet has been changed to a thinner one.

Note: The contact load on the dark box cover from the upper lens sheet has not caused

any type of malfunction or other problems. The change described above has been carried out as an improvement measure to achieve still better performance.
