2. L4 TROUBLE SHOOTIN G.
3. PREVENTION OF FOLDED CORN ERS FOR A4-R AND LETTER-R PAPER
1. Prevention of abnormal noise from the waste toner.
1.Model name: SF-2116/ 2118/1016/1018.
2.General: The waste toner transport spring sometimes rubs against the waste toner transport pipe
in the drum frame unit, causing abnormal noise. To alleviate this problem, the measures described below have been carried out. (Abnormal noise occurs in the early stages, but when the waste toner circulates through the waste toner transport pipe, the abnormal noise naturally disappears.)
3.Description: (1) Change in the final finishing process of the waste toner transport spring surface. Old New

(MSPRC2287FCZZ is recorded in the parts guide, but MSPRC2287FCZ1 was used from the start of mass production.)
(2) Tri-flow oil and kainer applied to the inner surface of the waste toner transport pipe. <Procedure>
A
[1] The waste toner in the waste toner transport
pipe is cleaned out.
[2] Tri-flow oil is poured into the waste toner
transport pipe.
[3] Cloth is passed through the pipe to spread the
oil evenly inside the pipe. (The oil should be

spread so that it does not drip.)
[4] Kainer is put into the waste toner transport pipe (refer to the diagram shown above).
(The “A” portion of the inside of the pipe should be white.)
