1. Regarding deterioration in copy quality resulting from failure of the MB drive wire.

1.Model name: SF-2022/2027/2035/1025

2.General: In order to increase the durability of the MB drive wire in the optics unit of SF-2035, we

have made the following changes.

3.Description: To increase the durability and flexibility of the MB drive wire, we have changed the wire to one which has more threads in it. As the difference is not visible, there is a black hook attached to the right side of the new wire to help distinguish between the old and the new.

The other models should have no problems with copy speed or quality even without the change, but the plan is to change all models at once for the sake of simplicity.

4.Action: SF-2035: From the first unit of January 1995 production. SF-2022/2027/1025: From 1995 mid-April production.

2. Regarding alterations in the codes for various parts in the parts guide, as a result of a change of suppliers.

1.Model Name: SF-2022/2027/2035/1025

2.General: Some of the parts used in the vertical transport unit have had their codes changed due

to a change of suppliers. There has been no change in the shape of these parts or in the materials used to make them. Please refer to the parts list for code changes.

3.Action: From the February 1995 production.

1.Model Name: SF-2035

2.General: There is a new supplier producing the IC (CG-ROM) used by the LCD control circuit

board. Quality has improved, and since the supplier has changed, there has been a change in the part codes. There has been no change in the software, and the old and new parts are completely interchangeable.

3.Action: From the April 1995 production.
