Date: Apr. 17, 1995
COPIER : SF-2014
1.CHANGE IN IC DUE TO SPECIFICATION CHANGES FOR MACHINES BOUND FOR OEM
2.COUNTER MEASURES FOR RISING TEMPERATURES IN THE RESISTORS IN THE MAIN PWB
3.TROUBLE SHOOTING IMAGE UNEVENNESS DURING SPF MODE OPERATIONS
4.PREVENTION OF DAMAGE TO THE SPF PWB AND IC DUE TO STATIC ELECTRICITY
No. : SP-1876
1. Change in IC due to specification changes for machines bound for OEM
1.Model name: SF-2014/21 14/2214 Z-800, SN-1420/1430 (USA only)
2.General: Changes were carried out in the IC of the models described above in accordance with changes in the specifications of some of the machines bound for OEM that were carried out. Note: Due to the change in specifications caused by the installation of the ICs on the
main PWB, the main PWB in the models listed above is no different than before, even when the new ICs are installed. Furthermore, the new ICs are interchangeable with the old ICs.
3.Description: Change in IC (IC110):
(Old) (New) SF-2014/21 14/2214 VHI37702MD132 VHI37702MD136 Z-800, SN-1420/1430 VHI37702E4142 VHI37702MD136
4.Action: From the start of 1995 January production
2. Counter measures for rising temperatures in the resistors in the main PWB
1.Model name: SF-2014/21 14/2214 Z-800, SN-1420/1430 (USA only)
2.General: The rise in temperature of some of the resistors used in the main PWB is too high when the machines are in stand-by mode. To alleviate this problem, the resistors have been changed to ones with a larger capacity. This change has no effect on the machine running operations or copy, or other functions, and has been carried out only to improve the conditions described above.
