DEALING WITH THE TROUBLE OF MAIN UNIT NOT TO BE ABLE TO TURN THE POWER ON

1.Model name: SF-8260

2.General: We found a trouble that the main unit could not be power on although its power switch

was turned on. Please take necessary measures shown in below to deal with troubles.

<Cause>

The soldering round surface of the ACN2 terminal of the connector with four pins (CN701) in the DC power PWB AC entering section was small. This caused cracks in soldering surface due to inserting connector or a long time heat stress. The terminal is opened under these conditions.

Please take measures as follows when you provide maintenance or service. Remove the DC power PWB at first. Add jumper lead wire (0.8φ) between the connector with four pins (CN701) ACN2 terminal and diode terminal (D772) in the back side of PWB. Make sure the continuity between these terminals. (Please see the illustration below to refer the position to add.) Be careful to the jumper lead wire soldering not to contact other terminals.
