1. Prevention of abraision of gear for tone supplying inside drive unit

1.Model name: Z-20, 23, 25, 27

2.General: We have applied the white grease to the gear(gear-18B) for toner supply inside the

drive unit to prevent its abraision. White grease → UKOG-0158FCZZ Apply a small amount of grease (about 6mg) per a point and for three points.

Varnish the grease on three points of the gear periphery for about 2mm lines with drivers or brushes.

3.Action: From mid-January 1994 production

2. Prevention of double feeding, paper jam and other troubles

1.Model name: Z-20, 23, 25, 27

2.General: We have made changes in forms of the bottom cabinet to prevent double feeding,

paper jam or other troubles.

3.Description: ➀ Change in the forms of ribs to prevent the paper jam in the paper feeding gate

section.

➁ Erasing of bushing line to prevent the paper jam and P-JAM. ➂ Change in the form of attachment side of the sheet for paper feeding to prevent

double feeding in multi paper feeding function.

Change of ➀ is only for Z-20. Change of ➁ and ➂ are only for Z-23, 25 and 27.
