2.General: Changes have been made to the small parts used in the power supply units for the
models listed above. (F or 220V, 240V series destinations only) This is in accordance
with manufacturer changes.

2. Prevention of slips in the return clutch to improve margin
1.Model name: Z-72, 76, 77, SF-6100
2.General: Slips occur in the return clutch when placing a heavy book on the glass table, or force is
used to hold an original in place when making copies. This s lows down the table return
function and the timing goes off causing an L display to appear. Changes have now
been made to improve the mar gin of the return clutch. No problems occur when making
ordinary copies.
3.Description: A polyslider has been placed between clut ch frame A and the 36T gear in the clutch
unit, as shown in the diagram below. The pressure welding strength is increased by
bringing the 36T gear closer to the O ring. This will then increase the torque of the
return clutch. Changes have also been made to the E slot position on the clutch axis.
This is to allow for the addition of a polyslider.
