PREVENTION OF PAPER CREEPS INSIDE THE TC CASE

1.Model name: SF-7320, 7370

2.General: The paper jams in front of the fuser and creeps inside the TC case. This causes an

electrical leak to occur when the TC wire comes into contact with the case. The shape of the TC sub mylar has been changed to prevent the paper from creeping into the case.

3.Description: Changed shape of TC sub mylar (All four changed)

Note: To prevent damage to the charge line, please follow the steps listed below.

➀ To remove the mylar, tilt to the left as shown in the diagram left. ➁ Keep tilted and slip the mylar out from under the charge line.

When inserting the mylar, follow the steps listed above in reverse order.

4.Action: Mid-June 1994 production.
