PREVENTION OF IC OPERATIONAL DEFECTS DUE TO INPUT VOLTAGE FLUCTUATIONS

1.Model name: Z-20, 23, 25, 27

2.General: IC operational defects were found to be caused by insufficient margins during input

voltage fluctuations. The new production lot of +5V power supply IC102 parts attached to the DC power supply PWB, were found defective. A change has been made to use parts from the current production lot and to sort the parts code by lot number.

3.Description:

(Characteristics of defect)

All lamps go out in the operational panel. This is due to excess voltage in the unit’s AC power supply voltage. (Voltage rating of 105% or more)
