1. Strengthening of the drum separator pawl (trouble shooting pawl damage).
1.Model name: SF-2022, 2027, 2035, 2018, 2022N, 2027N, 7800, 7850, 7870
2.General: When a jam occurs in the processing unit the user will remove the jammed copy papers
to remedy the problem. If the jammed copy papers are removed roughly, damage
sometimes occurs to the separator pawl. To prevent this damage from occurring, the
thickness of the pawl has been increased.
3.Description: The thickness of the drum separator pawl has been increased as shown in the figures
below.
Increased thickness.
(The parts code has not been changed.)
4.Action: (Factory action)
From 1993 October production (Option and service and maintenance kits included).

electricity and noise problems).
1.Model name: SF-2022 / 2027
2.General: Parts in the main PWB have been changed to improve the problems of static electricity
and noise.
(Flickering of the LED on the operation panel sometimes occurs due to the problems of
static electricity or noise.)
3.Description: Changes and addition of resistors in the main PWB and changes in the diode array and
digital transistor have been carried out.
