CHANGE IN PARTS TO I MPROVE PRODUCTIVITY.
1.Model name: SF-2035, 2027, 2022, 2018
2.General: The parts listed below have been changed to improve productivity.
3.Description: 1. Change in plating method for the MC grid electrodes.
The nickel chrome plating has been changed to chrome plating.
No. : SP-1680
2. Change in material for MC duct A. ABS resin has been changed to polystyrene.
3. Elimination of frame sheet (rear frame area). The shape of the square hole in the rear frame has been changed, and the frame sheet has been eliminated accordingly.
4. Change in grounding screws. The screws used in the high voltage power supply circuit board ground, optical harness ground, operation panel ground have been changed. (The screws used in the optical harness ground and the operation panel ground are not listed in the parts guide.)
5. Change in the PS roller lower. The tap and the screws in the PS roller lower have been eliminated.
* The position of the PS clutch had been set by tightening the screw which has been
eliminated. With the elimination of this screw it has become necessary to adjust the position of the PS clutch.

The PS roller lower sometimes slips toward the front of the machine.
To alleviate this problem, the PS roller lower should be pushed in the direction of “C”, shown in the diagram above, before attaching the PS clutch.
The PS clutch and the back end of the PS roller lower should be attached so that
the PS clutch and the PS roller lower are almost level with each other.
6. Change in the upper pawl plate lever. The shape of the upper pawl plate lever has been changed, and the mylar which was attached to the back side of the front frame has been eliminated.

Added rib.

Upper pawl plate lever.
Mylar attached to the back side. (Discontinued)
When raising the upper pawl plate lever, the lever sometimes gets caught in the hole of the front frame. Mylar had been attached, but by adding ribs to the lever and thereby controlling the stroke of the vertical movement of the lever. This prevents the problem of getting caught in the hole, and mylar has therefore been eliminated.
