3.Description: 1. Addition of edge stopper and change in MB cushion thickness and quantity.
The lamp unit and mirror base of the optical unit in the machine sometimes come in
contact during full scanning and return operations. This contact causes abnormal noise.
To prevent this from occurring, an edge stopper has been added and the thickness and
quantity of the MB cushions have been changed.

4. Change in shaft M1.
To prevent shaking of manual feed arm C, the hole for the location fixing pin for gear
20T of shaft M1 has been moved 0.5 mm inward.
Note: As a temporary measure, 2 poly sliders have been added between manual feed
arm C and gear 20T, and a flat washer has been added between manual feed
shaft socket C and the E ring.

5. Change of helical gears 64 T and 26 T in the optical unit.
To prevent image blurring, the inside diameter of helical gears 64 T and 26 T have
been changed. (Blurring sometimes occurs from the plus tolerance between the inside
diameters of the gears and the shaft.)

6. Addition of spacers to PS detection block.
The drum counter sometimes fails to register a count due to inadequate movement of
the PS arm and the PS detection block. To prevent this from occurring, a spacer has
been added to the PS detection block and the attachment position has been lowered,
which increases the span of movement of the PS arm.

7. PD1 bracket holder change.
Flush of the PD1 lever support unit of the bracket has occurred, obstructing the return
