1.Model name: SF-2022 / 2027

2.General: Software has been changed to remedy the problems described below encountered with

the SF-2022 / 2027.

3.Conditions: 1-1. The ADF / Desk Jam count is exceedingly high, even though almost no jams have occurred.

1-2. The PPD2 Jam count is exceedingly high, even though almost no jams have

occurred.

3. When W-feed duplex paper feeding is used during double side copy operations, excess paper remains after ADU paper discharge. If this excess paper is neglected, the time automatic clearing function goes into effect, cancelling all modes and activating the mandatory ADU paper discharge made.

4.Reason and Description:

1-1. The jam counter registers a count each time the main power switch is turned on / off

without removing the paper that has jammed. It also registers a count each time the right cabinet of the ADF / Desk is opened / closed. The bug in the software has been corrected .

1-2. When a jam occurs while the PPD2 is ON, and if the PPD2 is turned OFF due to

motor inertia within 0.4 seconds, the flow revolutions occurring during the remaining time are counted. The bug in the software has been corrected.

2. To prevent detection misses of H trouble (H3, H4) due to noise, detection is changed in the software.

3. The time automatic clear function has been changed so that it does not go into effect when copy paper is left remaining in the ADU.

The main ROM version and parts codes and the main PWB parts codes have been changed in accordance with the changes described above.
