1. Trouble shooting duplex feed jams.
1.Model name: SF-9800
2.General: The leading edge of the copy paper (A3, WLT) sometimes gets caught in the lower
guides (P/G No. 34 - 4) of the duplex unit during double side copy operations, causing
jams. To alleviate this problem, mylar has been added to both ends of the lower guides.
3.Reason: When copy paper (A3, WLT) is collected in the duplex tray, the paper sags downward,
causing the leading edge to get caught in both sides of the lower guides during copy
paper feeding. This can sometimes cause jams.
4.Description: Mylar has been added to both ends (front and rear) of the lower guides so that the copy
paper can be fed smoothly.
