1. Prevention of thin original paper jams.

1.Model name: SF-A14

2.General: When thin original paper is being used, jams sometimes occur at the paper separator

when the paper passes through. To prevent this and improve the paper feeding efficiency, mylar has been added at the opening of the paper separator.

3.Reason: To prevent jams when using thin original paper.

4.Description: Thin paper separator mylar has been laid on top of the separator mylar ( 2 - 119)

already positioned on the D Guide (P/G 2 - 87).

Added thin paper separator mylar (0CW2166P263A/).

Paper separator mylar.

Attachment procedure:

Align x’ - x’ and y’ - y’ of the thin paper separator mylar with x - x and y - y of the paper separator mylar and attach.

5.Action: (Factory action) From October, 1993.
